This started as a project to photograph local woodlands close to my home. Woodland landscapes are not limited to sweeping vistas of pine forests or the imposing majesty of giant redwoods – as wonderful as they are - they can equally be small copses of trees within urban parks. It is what the eye and, subsequently the camera, sees that makes the image.
